UW Chemistry Department

The Chemistry Department at UW-Madison is located at 1101 University Ave, Madison, WI and is comprised of The Shain Research Tower, J. H. Mathews Building and Farrington Daniels Building.

Building News & Announcements

On May 8th at 7:30am the 208V power in the Mathews tower in the Chemistry building will be shutdown for up to 90 minutes. The outage is needed to wire in temporary compressors to supply air to the building due to building air being lost for a time during a tunnel project; we anticipate the outage to be only 20 to 30 minutes but are asking occupants to plan for up to 90 minutes.

 The SWAP area has been moved to the Sub Basement off the freight elevator.  PLEASE send me a note from now on when you add this collection!
